Did you know ambulances and firetrucks avoid streets with speed bumps, and obvious reasons.
I once beat an ambulance to its destination. The ambulance took the congested main roads, while I took the rarely travelled side streets ladened with speed bumps. [I hope the poor fella made it to the hospital in time, and that if the ambulance did take the sides streets afterwards, hope he wasn't too shaken up!]
